EmojiBolt is designed with privacy and simplicity at its core. Unlike most websites, EmojiBolt does not use cookies to track you, analyze your behavior, or store personal information. This page explains what we store, why we store it, and how everything remains fully on your device.
1. EmojiBolt Does Not Use Cookies
EmojiBolt sets zero cookies. Cookies are usually used for tracking, analytics, personalization, login sessions, or advertisements — none of which EmojiBolt uses.
You can browse, search, and copy emojis knowing that we do not collect or store:

- Your browsing behavior
- Your device information
- Your emoji searches
- Any personal data
2. What EmojiBolt Stores (Local Storage Only)
EmojiBolt uses localStorage, a browser-based storage system that keeps data on your device only.
This data never gets transmitted to any server.
We store:
- Theme preference (light or dark mode)
- Copied emoji history (stored only on your device)
This information stays local, meaning:
- We cannot access it
- It is never shared with third parties
- You can delete it anytime by clearing your browser storage
3. Optional Third-Party Cookies (If You Enable Analytics)
EmojiBolt itself does not set cookies, but if you choose to enable analytics through Google Tag Manager or similar tools, they may set their own cookies for measuring usage.
If used, these cookies will typically include:
- Session identifiers
- Anonymous usage data
- Traffic analysis tokens
These are governed by the provider’s privacy policy (e.g., Google) — not EmojiBolt.
4. How to Clear Stored Data
You can remove all locally stored EmojiBolt data instantly:
- Open your browser settings
- Go to Clear browsing data
- Select Cookies and site data or Local storage
- Clear data for
emojibolt.com
This removes theme preferences and history of copied emojis.
5. Why We Avoid Cookies
Modern websites overuse cookies for advertising, tracking, remarketing, and personal profiling. EmojiBolt intentionally avoids all of that for a cleaner, faster, more privacy-respecting experience.
Our philosophy:

- 🚫 No ads, no analytics (unless you explicitly add them)
